18006605542

Who is this whenever I call they are closed.

The number 800-660-5542 belongs to QC Holdings, d/b/a Quik Cash located at 9401 Indian Creek Pkwy Overland Park, KS 66210. A Michelle Hollie called my place of business and left a collection call for me in an associate's voice mail box after payment arragngements have been made months ago and I have kept to this arrangement. This company is in receipt of a certified letter stating specifically NOT to place any calls to my place of employment. They are now in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Act. If you are experiencing this, contact your state's attorney general and file a complaint. I am now having to do this today and taking time off work to do so.

this is funny........I called the # back and I missed who she said they were but UC Holdings does sound familiar. So I played stupid and said who is this again and she is like this is Sheila. I said no what business and she would not repeat it. So I simply said I must of dialed the wrong # and she is did you receive a call from us and I said no that I think I dialed the wrong # and she had the nerve to tell me No No No....I said No what? She then tells me that you probably received a call from us if you have this #. I said NO I think I dialed the wrong #. I told her that the last 4 digits of the # I was calling was 5552. She says 5552.........you have a good day maam. I live with my boyfriend and the call that came from that # was for him.....I called to see what the hell it was because it's calling here all the time. Guess it's time we have a little chat about this call and what it means.

Yep. They are after me, now. I had a payday loan over a year ago which I have been paying on a bit here and there. I think I still owe about 250. Anyway, a couple weeks ago, they debited my account for $587.50, and I filed a dispute with my bank and got it back. Now they are calling me from this number 18006605542 ...

Yes, T-Mobile does have a new feature that you can block incoming calls. You have to manually input the numbers from your account on the T-Mobile website. It's an additional charge of $2.00 a month but well worth it.

QC Holdings is not a collection company. QC holdings has over 600 stores throughout the US and is publically traded on NASDAQ. QC Holdings is a provider of short term loans, better known as payday advances. For those of you receiving calls from 1-800-660-5542, this is the corporate office attempting to contact you. Thats typcially what happens when you borrow funds and dont pay it back. I would strongly encourage and advise reconsidering your position on the matter.

WHo owns 1-800-899-7051, as they left a voice mail saying "if this is the intended contact party, please continue" An answering machine can't hang up. They said it was for debt collection, which I do not believe is correct or legit?

They are calling me everyday and sometimes twice a day. When they leave a voicemail all they say is my name is .... please call us back at .... It is getting really old. I tried to make arrangements with them and they wouldn't make any arrangements with me. It is the Quik Cash company, not a collection agency. They will not stop calling. They must think that if they call enough that it will annoy people enough to make money appear out of nowhere. The bank account I used was closed thank goodness so I don't have to worry about them debiting my account, but I am having financial issues and cannot pay them right now. Some people won't be lucky enough to get the money back because you owe them and signed a paper that says they can debit your account. NO it is NOT okay for them to call you at work IF you tell them not to. What you need to do is tell them to stop calling you at work and that you know that it is not okay for them to keep doing it. If they do it again, tell them you had told them to stop calling you at work and that you are calling your lawyer (and think about doing so). However, they can still call you at home or on a cell phone and they can call your references. If you don't tell them not to call you at work, they can and will. Good luck everyone.

These people call me everyday at least twice a day. Yes, i had a loan over the internet that i couldn't pay back, but this was over 2 years ago and they just started calling me about a month or 2 ago. If these people are calling my ex, i will be upset because i never gave out his number and he lives in a different state then me. They even call my parents place if this is the same place. I just let them leave a message and then i delete it. I guess i should start writing them down. All they do is leave me a reference number and thats it. No name of where they are calling from just a toll free number.
