I have two payday loans (payday select and payday ok). I defaulted on them last year. Shortly afteward I just started sending them what I could. I have no idea how much I owe but sent both companies emails today to request an itemized statement of my accounts. What should I do next? Just wait to find out how much I owe? Just keep sending them money indefinitely? Help! I'm in Michigan. Thanks.

The first thing I would do, if I were you, is go hunting for receipts and figure out how much you actually owe them. I know that payday OK isn't licensed in Ohio, but I'm not sure about Mi. I am going to post your pdl laws, then search your data base and see what I can come up with.

I'm going to say those are licensed in Mi. based on some of the posts I have read here at the forum. If anyone else knows anything different, please jump in here and correct me. Anyway, I would definitely do some research to find out what your balances are on these loans. :)
