I was down to two accounts....Now what?

How many clients have lost their money to James. Can we have a poll? Also wonder how much he has ripped everyone off? I just can't imagine a thief robbing from the poor. It really takes all kinds. Many of his clients begged, borrowed and stole some to get the money to pay off their dang credit cards only to have a low life like this guy come along, promise them the moon and then steal their last dime. You should be very proud of yourself Mr. James Lombardo, aka Sifxpert & Debtxpert. No excuses for you not to get back to people whose lives you have temporarily ruined and marriages you have destroyed over your dealings. YOU WILL PAY
I am going to register today so I can PM some of his clients so I can see what they are doing to get this scumbag.

Of about a dozen people that I have been in contact with during the course of the last few weeks, I tabulated what James owes 8 of us. It is a little over $67,000

Another 2 lost a $500 retainer each and a few more haven????????t responded.

Looks like about half of these people contacted the major contacts regarding this fraud and theft.

The Irvine California police department are now familiar with the case and calls can be made there.

Many clients are still in denial, some don????????t care and are moving on and I am sorry, but I think some are ....................and aren't doing anything. I know most of us did our homework with James and if it wasn????????t for this site, I know, I wouldn????????t have ever got involved with this guy but after hearing so many other horror stories about other companies prior to visiting this site, I thought James was looking pretty good.

I was one of his clients and he has helped me settled Discover about a year ago. I paid him 500 retainer which is more enough to cover his fee for this settlement. So he probably owe me a couple hundred of dollars. I have three accounts left to deal with. I just settled with Chase yesterday over the phone when they send me a settlement letter. So I have Sears and Citibank left with Citi being the biggest account. I will probably have funds to settle Sears too but havent hear from them in 2-3 months. Citibank is a big account for me so i might need another company to help me and i am thinking about OakView since I heard a lot of good thing about them here and they are close to where I am.

I am curious...Was this money recently "illegidly" taken, or was this over a period of time? He helped me on a number of accounts and this whole ordeal baffles me...he was always professional and kept to his word.

I must reiterate what FamilyBowl has stated. If you feel you have been taken by Mr. Lombardo aka Sifxpert, it is VERY IMPORTANT that you file an online complaint to the iC3.

At my appointment with my local PD, the investegator noticed my confirmation from my iC3 complaint. He immediately stated that he would definitely be hearing from them (FBI).

Also, only two of us have filed with ripoff report. This can likely get him exposed to a national audience, perhaps even TV, who will be symathetic to our cause. It is important to do this.

And of course to the BBB, this can potentially shut him down by insuring no new clients seek his services. I dont want to see this happen to anybody else.

I registered with sifxpert about a year ago i only gave him a 250 retainer fee i think but he has not settled any of my accounts and wont return any phone calls, now i have all the creditors calling me over 5 times a day, i am not sure what to do.... i really trusted James!

does anybody know where james is?

Can someone please contact me if they have heard from James recently i am so lost about what to do, if i should try to find another company, i dont want to get sued!

yes were screwed, because he wont respond and is our power of attorney. Where or what can we do to get it revoked. We cant join another company till its revoked.

I heard from James and he has settled my b of a account for 17%. I am waiting on the letter from B of A.

Did you call BofA to confirm that a settlement was offered? Let me guess, he told you not to call BofA because he is using up a huge favor.

You story sounds very familiar to everyone else's here.

Clients still working with James..... I don't know what to say to you. Bank of America takes it's funds directly from your account so that isn't so bad and obviously, the reason James settles with them first is that any idiot can settle with them at 15-25%. James is after his big fees on these easy accounts..... you say, he settled BOA and paid him $3000-5000 fee to settle something that I could have done myself in 10 minutes. You are putting your trust in him to not just settle with an easy account but all of your accounts. My point is that he will take your fee from the easy account and screw your whole life up on the harder ones and guess what, his guarantee promises that he will fix them all. If he does this to you, he stole your fee on the easy account and you deserve a refund. You can't do just the easy ones and say the hell with the rest of them. Wake up people.........the odds are stacked against you....... do the accouts yourself and don't count on James. If he he hasn't settled all of your accounts, he hasn't come through with his guaranteed service on his web site and you owe him nothing........... If you want to talk to James, just ask him to refund any fees he has already taken from you plus any money he has stolen from your account.

I dont believe it, than why in the hell doesnt he call ALL HIS CLIENTS but just and one or two. No emails - faxes - mail letters - call at home - cel. call...I dont buy this at all, he will pay, for what he has done and doing. Infact im working on a book deal. Maybe you are working for him, to give us a little cheer up that hey sifxpert is still around. BS

He is still around, I just heard he tried to get some fees out of a client the other day where the client settled an account by himself because James never would return any messages. Anyhow, the client was asked for the fee for the settlement that the client had to negotiate himself because James dissappeared.
WELLLLL, Sorry buckwheat....... no fee for James. James, if you are out there, read your home page guanrantee. You can't do part of the work, screw someone's whole life up by neglecting their other accounts and expect to get some big buck fees. It just doesn't work that way. Sorry, you have completely missed the boat here.... in fact, you've missed the whole point. Forget your dang fees, you should feel lucky that you aren't getting sued for a million in punitive damages for each account you neglected and let slide into collections. You are a very bad and misserable man, Mr. Lombardo, aka Debtxpert, Sifxpert. I think that if Mr. Lombardo fixes all of our accounts, get them removed from collections, settles them, get them removed from our credit reports and then negotiates a fee with each of us sounds more reasonable. Let me think, I wonder what his fee would be from me if he did that????

I have paid my retainer fee last few months, never hear from him since then. Email, phone can not contact him !!!!! all my acc go to collections right now. He makes all the things worse after taking money from people who need help the most at this time. I hope, he get punished for what he deserve.

James Lombardo changed the picture on his forum, already. It now shows his prized BMW instead of the anitmated stick drawing of him stabbing his clients in the back repeadedly with a knife and a caption that reads ......"here, I'll help you to shut the f*** up!" I am glad I saved it. Just shows what a sicko, this guy really is.

Well last night, if you were to go to the forum, it had a pop up window. User and log in name required, and it said it would forward you to to debtxpert dot com, and now its changed again hmmmmmmm.

Seems he's trying to pull what REMAINING USERS he can keep under his THUMB and direct them eleswhere. Well it AINT gonna happen with me. I do wish you all kept your emails and every thing he's told you from day one, as I have. P.S. and he slipped out alot of info# to me. Just ran his, and it will pay off for me once I get done with my attorney.

I was doing some research for a new program to join, and came across this forum site. I freaked out and saw that he used to be on this forum board, a huge forum board. He got banned for T.O.S. and more and alot of bad stuff was talked about him, and then It appears he started his own forum. Yes James was banned from that particular board almost 2 years ago for continuously soliciting his services via PM. Good riddance to bad rubbish then and it appears he's no different now.

Bingo1.... BOA will automatically take the money from your account and of course James will also. The problem of course isn't neccessarily with BOA....... it's with your other accounts. While you are waiting for James to take care of this account, your other accounts will be going to the CA's and then you will be hurting. In the mean time, James will have swallowed up a big hefty fee for 15 minutes of work on BOA. He won't really care about anything else after he gets several thousand dollars in fees from you. Don't allow him access to your account to get those fees or you will be in a world of hurt. Make him settle all of them or nothing. Based on his recent track record......... you certainally can not count on him settling other accounts for you without specific stipulations on how they will be paid and then once again.......how, can I put this in simple english, you can not let him charge you a fee until he has taken care of all of your accounts.....period. I know you are desperately trying to resolve your situation but unless you do what I am telling you, you are going to pay some big fees and still have a bunch of accounts go to collections and be right back where you started from almost except maybe in even worse shape than you were before you signed on with him.

I don't think so....if anything he's going to be served and seeing the judge soon, count on it. Its in the makings already. He's going to to be paying fees now ........and that is restitution FEES and you know the rest.

I had joined American Liberty just as James was being fired. He tried to contact me to go with him exclusively and leave ALF. I thought that rather sleazy, so I stayed with ALF. After reading all of this I am rather glad that I did. Anyway I read that someone was down to two accounts, why don't you try calling someplace like ALF to see if they would be wiling to finish out the program for you? What could it hurt? They mosly likely have less then heartfelt feelings for him anyway, and as a result more willing to help his victims.

I just heard from this person today. That is over 20 people that I have documented that James Lombardo, aka debtxpert, sifxpert, has stolen from. This was what they had to say.

I have been following the posts on debt collection care .com.....I had been working with and thought I had finished with James-sifxpert and was pleased. Each acct settled and was reported timely to the CRA.....until our last acct which somehow we could not keep from charging off--never understood his explanation for this---anyway I found out today that he never paid a penny back in 10/07 to our last acct. We gave him $9700 to settle as agreed upon, plus over $5000 for his fees.....when I never got the settlement letter he always had some reason why he'd not sent it....then in March I really put my foot down and he sent a message that he'd taken care of it---he sent a cease and desist to the CA( 2nd one now apparently)......I had no reason to doubt him everything had gone great to that point.....I am a fool.....Where do I start to get his @#$ arrested and my money back???

He stole over $10,000 from us....we now have nothing to negotiate with the 2nd CA with....we refinanced our house to pay off his fees and that last acct.

This was back in October of 2007. I really do think we are only touching the tip of the iceberg here....... I think he has been ripping people off for years and just plain stealing from their accounts this last 8 months.

Most of us have gone through the whole gambit.... but some just want to forget it ever happened, hide their head under the sand and hope it all goes away. The ic3.gov/complaint site is the most important site to be concerned about and completed ASAP because they forward the info. to the local authorities immediately and it is difficult for the locals to proceed without the FBI contacting them. I think there will be more ex-clients coming forward soon who find out that what they thought was all settled months ago from James was never completed.

James has settled my accounts for me a while ago and yes all was paid as stated with letters from the banks. that was a while ago and i am on th eway to building my score again.

I am surprised to hear this of him since he was always professional about it. It's a shame and I am sorry to hear about the trouble he is causing for you people. i know what it is like to be in that position.

Try to keep you chin up and negotiate yourself if you can.

I just looked at the POA and it states that it can be revoked anytime by you so it should not be a problem getting a new company if needed.

i am a little worried though since he has my bank account information. At least i used an account that is usually at zero unless I put something in it.
