I want to notify all my creditors to only communicate with my attorney. I am absolutely broke, a senior, no asetts, only social security. How much work will mey attorney have to do in keeping the creditors away. Will he have to answer numerous letters from the same creditor thus having to charge me. What does my attorney put in his letter than tells the creditor they are wasting their time.

Your attorney will know how to handle this. All they need to tell them that you are on social security and unless these debts are irs debts or child support debts they can't be garnished. Social Security income is exempt from garnishment up to a certain amount I believe. Other's will be along to advise you further.
