Im being threatened to be sued for 2100 in debt. I cant come up with the money out of the blue, and they wont accept payments. What can i do?

did they give a name?i would ask them to send you something in writing.it is your right.if they refuse,try to get the name of this attorneys office.there are quite a few rent-a-lawyers out there taking advantage of people.request something in writing.
