I have an exgirl frend that obtained credit and telling everybody we were married. She nearly cost me my career and I kicked her out of the house. I continuously get phone calls from debt collectors wanting her and when I tell them where she lives she contacts the judge telling them that I am stalking her. What should I do it has been 3 years dealing with her !@#%$%^% shit.

Can't advise on thestalking issue but would suggest you pull your most recent credit reports, identify any fraudulent accounts and proceed with the steps outlined on the FTC's website regarding Identity Theft.

Download the IDT Affadavit, fill it out and have it notorized. File a police report and send that, the IDT Affadavit and proof of identity to all three CRA's along with your credit reports. Make sure you identify all fraudulent accounts and inquiries. By law, the CRA's must permanantly suppress all accounts and Inquiries identified as being connected with IDT. You will also need to send this info to any crdit card companies, CA's, JDB's, utilities, etc that you identify as being linked to the IDT. Be very careful of what you send to CA's and JDB's however. Do not send your SS#. Your DL with the number blacked out should be sufficient. Good Luck
