Any company that is trying to collect money from you, especially, if they are illegal, will negotiate a payment plan with you. You need to contact them and see what they are willing to agree to. If you make initial contact via phone, either request and/or create a written document of agreed upon terms. This can occur via email, fax, and/or mail. If and when you speak to someone over the phone keep details of the date, time, person, and details of the conversation, so that when you send written communication, you can reference said information. NEVER go on a verbal agreement alone. Good Luck!

The illegal ones will scream and try to convince you of all sorts of things. Just secure your bank account before you do anything.
