As I stated in the other post, all pdl's are illegal in NY. If you have paid the loan back through the fee's then you are done with them. I would either put a hard debit block on your account or close the account and open another one so they do not keep getting your money. I would also report them to the BBB, FTC & NY Attorney general. You will probably get phone calls from hte companies once they realize that they can no longer get to your money, so I would also send them the pdl letter. I can find a copy if you need it, otherwise you can do a search and find one.
In the letter you are revoking your authorization to debit your account, any wage assignments you may have signed and your authorization to contact your references. You are also advising them that all contact muct be either through mail or email. If you figured out how much you have over paid them, then you can also ask for a refund.
