I was talking to a debt settlement company that sounded real good until I pulled up the Better Business Bureau. Thank god! I found out they had complaints and then I found out they were not BSI certified with TASC. I didn't really think there was any difference between company's but now I know better.

My advice is defiantly check with the Better business bureau and see how long a companies been in business and how many complaints they have, you'll be surprised!!!

I wish I would have found this forum sooner.

exactly,do your homework and that includes the BBB.believe it or not they do have good info on companies of all kinds.a good source of information.

Thats some good advice! Now a days you have to be aware that there are ALOT of scams and people that cant wait to screw you out of your money. Its a false hope that makes you feel as if all the weight is going to be lifted off your shoulders and everything wll be better, and then something like this happens... i have been there done that...and its actually really depressing how many horrible people there are in the world ready to attack on some poor person with no money, knowing they have no money, and get them to give up what money they do have to buy there trust...

Sad.

WHich is why im glad for this website...lots of legit info and great people to help with whatever problem you have!
