I have $14500 in credit card debt. I refuse to do a bankruptcy and cccs says I dont earn enough to join them. What about a company like New Era? I cant have collection agencies calling my work everyday because I would lose my job. Help
Simply send a letter to the CA's CMRRR telling them NOT to call
Simply send a letter to the CA's CMRRR telling them NOT to call you at work. If they continue calling you after receiving the letters, you can sue them for fdcpa violations.
Legally if you verbally tell them to stop calling your work number, they must stop. However by sending it CMRRR you have proof that you did cease them from work calls.
