SEC To Ease Accounting Rules

This is horrible. The SEC is going to make it even easier for publicly traded companies to cook their books.
They are no longer going to require GAAP as the norm.

OK...but find me an Auditing firm that will give a publicly traded corporation that does not follow GAAP an Unqualified Opinion. That ought to be interesting next year when you flip to the Auditors Statement in their Annual Reports.
