Hi,

I am unable to pay huge interest and request them to reduce it.but they never did. i am unable to pay interest for the cards. can you tell me how to go about with BOA and Citi.. I heard there is an option called freezing the cards where you only pay towards amount and not interest. can i request them to freeze the cards.. will they do it? i have never been late on my payments. would be really helpful if anyone can reply on this.

If your rates were increased... what for? If you are current but you can't see continuing, but you would like to keep your credit at least where it stands now, then I would research DMP companies. If you dont have o.k. credit left, and you can handle the future hassels(collection calls, etc), then I would consider a do-it-yourself settlement plan. It depends on your situation. Provide more details for more detailed help, if this isn't enough.
