Instead of going for credit repair agencies to repair your own credit, I think that you should give a try to repair it yourself. If you go through the Federal Trade Commission website, you will also find that even the FTC recommends repairing credit by yourself. You can find this out by visiting the following link "http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre13.shtm".

i am not sure if it is true or not, but alot of people say that those types of places are scams. You are better off repairing your credit yourself and you can do it! I believe there is is a post here some were on this forum on steps to take to repair your credit. Check it out first it was really informative to me hope it helps!
