I have read and read the posts about debt settlement companies that I do not know which to choose. Too many people are trashing each other and companies.

Who out there is HONEST enough to say, it really worked for me, no problems. I am not concerned about BBB ratings of F because they give all debt settlement companies F.

you are better off financially to do it yourself and alot of people do it if you read on this forum with sucess. but as everyones situation is different some need a company or feel better about using a company every situation and person is different.

no one is gonna or should tell you who to use here and if they do they probably work for that particular company. so this is my suggestion, get a few that you have heard of and research. take the time to investigate every company that you have on the list. google, check the bbb, see if they are members of the tasc, and so forth and you should be able to get a good feel as to how a company treats thier clients.

good luck to you!

I have heard Superior and Ram Financial Services are good companies and actually have good ratings through the BBB. Checking the BBB if very important because they are consumer based complaints. In addtion, I would make sure the company you go through is trained. Many people want their mechanic to be certified through the ASE. IAPDA and USOBA are certifications that legislate and require debt settlement companies to uphold a high code of excellence.

Do it yourself! You will save yourself so much money, which by the way you may need in order to make a settlement deal. Settlement is not rocket science....do your homework and pick up the phone and tell your creditors that you just can't pay your bill because of (whatever reason, make it good). No one will work as hard for your settlement as YOU. At the very least check out Zip debt on the web. Google it and you will find it. They walk you through all the info, the company owner speaks with you once as a phone consult and offers continued email support, and he knows his stuff. Zip debt is a one time fee of $300 or something like that.

Don't be fooled by these companies. They exist to make money also!
