Hi, I was served papers about a week ago, to appear in court, for a credit card that hasnt been paid on in about a year, but it started out as as 300.00 credit card and now they want nothing lower than 800.00. If I want to set up a payment plan on that they said it would go up 1000.00, Help!!!

You need to visit the court in order to avoid default judgment. I think you should ask them to validate the debt in the court itself. They need to give you details about the debt including the principle amount borrowed and interest charges. Unless they validate the debt, they cannot bring judgment against you.
