I think so if you go through a debt consolidation company. But you can get on a payment plan with a consolidation company if you are current on your loans.

Can you give us a little more info and we could help you deal with these loans. What state are you in, if the loans are storefront or internet, who you have the loans through?

I am in Rhode Island and the PDL are with CNU (Cash Net USA, Ace Cash and East side lenders. All ore internet loans. Currently the only one attempting to contact me is CNU. the other two do not seem to be makeing effort right now.

CashNetUSA is going to be legal. Is your bank account already closed? If it is then can you go ahead and make some kind of arrangements to get CashNetUSA paid (do not give them your new bank account info) and then don't worry about the other 2 right now since they are'nt calling.

I have closed the bank account that CNU had on file orriginally, and they do not have my new account. I can contact them. Should I make an offer to settle or monthly payments.

I have never dealt with them personally but do which ever you are comfortable with. I would probably offer to settle first if you can afford that-not sure if they will settle though. If not set up payments. they may try the old "we only accept ach for payment" but just stick with you have no account, the bank closed it due to nsf's and you can't open another. You can pay by MO or pre-paid card.
