Can accounts charge off during a dmp? If so, I'm guessing the account is normally sold to an outside agency, so then I'm guessing my DMP would need to send the payments to the agency rather than the OC?

Also, if a creditor were to charge off my account during my DMP, but I'm making payments just not as much as they are wanting do you think they would still sue me?

Can accounts charge off duringa dmp? No they shouldnt unless the credit counseling agency wasn`t sending the payments to the creditors on time like they were supposed to. You need to call that company you have the DMP with and have a little chat with the MGR as to what the heck happened.

Also, if a creditor were to charge off my account during my DMP, but I'm making payments just not as much as they are wanting do you think they would still sue me? Yes they could. If you are not sending them enough money they could possibly sue you if they feel it is cost effective. You need to work out a payment arrangement with that collection agency or settlement.

Hope this helps. :D
