Yes, i recieved my second collection notice in which i call directv and they told me dont worry about because its not my account. Well they seem to think it is. they keep tellling me i owe them 396.51 I just got directv a year ago this month. never had a bill that high. what can i do.

You need to check out whether or not it is your account for which the collection agency has send you a collection notice. You can send them a debt validation letter and ask them to validate the debt. If they don't provide you with the required information, then you should send them a 1 and ask them to stop calling you.

Do you still have Direct TV? Is your account in current? Do you have copies of your bills?
