i want to remove a former report from old address from credit report my brothers address which he feels would affect his credit

Welcome to the Community Bob :D We don't have anything to do with credit reports-however, you can contact the credit bureau and see what they can do. I'm not sure if you can remove something if it is valid, like on your credit report and brothers addy- but I am not really sure about that. Someone will be along who knows this for you! Good Luck!..KAren

You can dispute inaccurate entries on your credit report online, in writing, or over the phone. Once you dispute an entry, the credit bureau has thirty days to investigate it. If theyt find it to be inaccurate, they have to remove it. Otherwise, you're likely stuck with it. Be sure to check your report with each of the 'big 3' credit bureaus and dispute with each one. They don't share information.
