Has anyone actually sued them and gotten money back? My attorney is asking if I want to go ahead with this, I certainly have the documentation to back me up as they said I would be paid back and then said I didn't exist and then sent delinquency notices and then never returned calls. I'm going through the FBI and FTC because they keep pulling the same stunts, but filing a lawsuit is different. I could sure use some help with this.

ADF is not Hess Kennedy. I went through ADF and was contacted by another credit counseling agency that referred me to hess kennedy.

I lost my job and received a complete refund.

Tiffany what did they say about you that was not true?

I too filed a BBB complaint against Hess Kennedy but only because I thought they were the ones i signed with. It was my credit counselor that lied to me.

I recommend going directly to the company that will handle your debts not the referral agents. The referral agents all lie.

Hess Kennedy settled two accounts for me but I could not wait 3 years to get out of debt so I cancelled.

They did fight me for a complete refund because of the settled accounts. I did get a refund. I think they fired the person that was handling refunds because it caused a lot of complaints.

HK put thru debits to my account on dates other than the agreed draft date, which caused me to be overdrawn, then charged me $30 for the pleasure. They admitted no wrongdoing. Then, when the complaints were filed against them, they responded by saying I bounced checks. Not true! Also, they claim that they don't do debt settlement, the referral credit counselors didn't give correct info. This is also not true, as my contract, which HK sent me states in black and white that I am using them for debt settlement.

I was charged $30.00 for bouncing a payment also. They gave it back though when I asked. All you have to do is ask.
