I have a question. I just looked at my credit report and I have not even recieved anything from AFNI before saying I have an unpaid account with Alltel before. This is the first time I have seen this pop up on my report. I used to have Alltel a long time ago. What should I do about this?

If you think an inaccurate information has been reported on your credit report, then you can dispute the account status with the credit bureaus. You should also send a debt validation letter in writing to Afni. If they don't send you the dv letter, then you may ask them to remove the listing from your credit report.
