AR Trust is working with me on consolidating my debts and they are doing very well. I also checked them out through the BBB and they only have one complaint and it was taken care of

I actually worked with them in 2006.. they say they negoiate down your credit cards. The only problem is when they tell you to stop paying them.. Then the calls start coming. You tell them you have a third party to negoiate, and most of them will say "We don't work with third parties" Now all the late fees from not paying made me deeper in debt and I found out i could negoiate settlements on my own. My citicard wanted a 1,000 a month and I owed them 20,000 they wouldn't settle so finally after getting a letter saying I would have my wages garnished. I ended up filing for bankruptcy. Do not give these people a dime.. You can settle yourself rather then pay them to do basically nothing.

I am currently in a DMP obtained through the credit card company. But in about 5-6 months the program will be over(it was a 12 month program). Chase said that if we still need it after the 12 months to give them a call and they would do another 12 month term. Bank of America did a 5 year, 0% interest for the balance of the loan. Citi said it would extend but the original APR would have to be paid for one month and then another 12 month period @ 1% would begin again. So far we have been able to pay on time. We were just contacted by AR Trust for debt settlement. Should we consider that or just continue working with the credit card companies? We did our own negotiations.

Right now we are on a debt management plan with the credit card companies for a 12 month period. We have 4-5 months before the program ends. Should we consider a debt settlement plan or continue working with the credit card companies? Our interest and payments were reduced significantly.

Wow, interesting post. AR TRUST Services works well. Without divulging to much personal info, hears how it worked for me. I came into AR Trust program for debt settlement around May of 2009 with a total of 13 delinquent accounts to my name. I quickly settled on 8 of those accounts in just nine months and saved over $20,000 dollars ,combined my average settlement amount on each debt ended up being an average of 45% in some cases 50% of the balance. In one instance I settled a account of a savings of over 59% of the balance owed. Now you can choose to be proactive and work a part time job, trim your budget and send in everything you can and extra and get the program on work even better for you. I did! The ladies at AR TRUST are very professional and goal oriented, their approach has your best interest in mind. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to get out of debt.

The collections calls will stop, in some instances they will become impatient but I have always found that when the creditors get impatient let client support do the outstanding job that they do.

Remember your here because your already in debt, probably on the brink of bankruptcy, late fees, high interest rates. That's money lost. The money that goes to AR TRUST is working for you minus their fees, which are small compared to what you would be in interest on your credit cards and late fees. Its up to you, but Settle your debt, don't write it off, in the long run creditors may respect you more for trying then just filing bankruptcy.

I highly recommend AR Trust for anyone who is having financial difficulty and can not see a way out of debt on their own. From the first phone call on, I was completely put a ease. I am confident that at the end of my association with AR Trust, I will be debt free. They are always there to help me. If I have a question, it is always answered right away, as the associates know what I need to know. If my associate is not in, someone else is there to help me. Again, I would recommend this company to everyone. MP
