Payday loan nightmare

I am wondering what the best course of action is for me? I am not that comfortable with just shutting down my bank account.
Is there a reputable consolidation company around?

With payday lenders unfortunately the best course of action is to close your bank account. The reason I say this is, I had a loan with Great Sky, I revoked my ACH and they still accessed my account. If your lenders are internet lenders and illegal in your state all you are obligated to pay back is the principle amount of the loan. If you've already paid back the principle amounts, and if these are illegal loans in your state there is no need to pay a consolidation company if it's not needed. Follow the advise of this forum, as everyone here has a lot of experience, I did that very thing a few short weeks ago and I'm out from underneath the lenders I was dealing with. Granted I had to get a new bank account but it is worth the security of knowing no one has access to my money but me. Even if you decide to close your account, open a new one and give the information to a payday lender you feel you can trust, they do share the information.
