Advice for dealing with Barclay's Bank

Have a 9,500 balance with Barclay's just about 90 days late and they are calling a bunch but I can't get them to discuss settlement. Hoping to get them into the 33% range.

Anyone have recent experience with Barclay's?

I recently settled with Barclay's for 27%. They let me pay it in 2 installments of $592.00 each. I am, however, using a debt setttlement company. I'm not doing it myself.
