All the BBB does is write a letter to the company you're complaining about, telling them you've complained, and the BBB asks for "their side of the story."
If the company doesn't respond, the BBB just sends you back a letter that they never responded. If they do respond, the BBB forwards you a copy of their response.
Then the BBB keeps tally of how many complaints came in against that company. That's really all they do.
