Ineed help in consolidating and reducing my monthly payments

Hello, a great ligit company that helped me consolidate all my credit cards is called freedom debt management. They helped me pay off a big chunk of my debt in about a year. They send proposals to all the creditors eligible to be placed into their program and it takes effect immediately. If the creditors accept the proposal (which all of mine did).. They waive the late fee (while starting up the program) then you have a minimum monthly payment to FDM that in turn pays your creditors. FDM concentrates on hitting your prinicipal balance so you actually pay your debt off faster. I had more than a handful of creditors I put into my program and had a low monthly payment of 140/month. You'd be suprised what an impact that makes when you don't have to deal with the interest. Google Freedom Debt Management, they are COMPLETELY worth it.

Welcome! Since you have registered with this site, a debt counselor will be contacting you by phone for a free consultation. It's a good idea to have your current credit reports, a figure on what you make per year, and any bills that might not be on your credit report (like payday loans) handy so you can discuss your situation with them. They will offer you options for debt consolidation or settlement.

You can obtain a free copy of your credit reports from all three bureaus at http://www.annualcreditreport.com. There is no membership required or enrollment in a monitoring service - it's simply a free report, once per year.

Best of luck to you - keep us posted on your progress!

Hello I am Currently working with Freedom Point for my Debt but two of my accounts have gone up since then. Every time I send the email to them I get a auto response. What account types don't they take care of? Even tho they are taking the money for them its not helping I keep getting charged for late payments.

Jamie, most dmp companies will not work on secured debts. If Freedom Point has included your account in the plan, it is their responsibility to negotiate with the creditor and with your payments already done, the balance should go down.

Do you have the contract copy where you can find the phone number of FDM?
