Best Debt Settlement Company

It would be impossible to say who is the best because everyone has different opinions. If you are shopping around with settlement companies I suggest you check them out with the BBB to see if they are members or at least has a solid track record. There are a lot of crooked settlement companies out there so its important you do your home work. Be aware in some states regular debt settlement companies can't legally operate and thus debt settlement services must be performed by a law firm licensed to practice law in that state.

What state do you live in ?

I've read ALOT of positive things, on the forum ,about CCCS. I'm REALLY thinking about going with them. However....if I set up monthly payments ( I guess this would go with ANY company..) and I miss a payment with the company, would THAT be on my CR as well? Just trying to look at the 'big picture' of things.
