I have about $30,000.00 in credit card debt. I am not late on my payments and my credit score is not that bad, maybe around 700. I have had the same good job for 19 years and I have had medical expenses for my wife which I should nit have paid with credit cards, but what's doe is done and now I would like to get a loan and pay them off over 3 years. I have always paid my bills and I don't want to have debt forgiven, I would just like to put it all on one monthly payment.

Hi!
Welcome to the forums!
Good to know that you have excellent credit. As you have good credit score and have stable income, I don't think you'll face any problem in securing a consolidation loan. I think it is better to shop around. Contact banks and financial institutions that offer consolidation loans. They can tell you whether or not you can qualify for a loan with a 3 year time period. Check the terms and conditions of the loans. Take out the loan from the bank/financial institution that offer you the best deal. One thing, I would like to add is that, the interest rates on the secured consolidation loans are much lower than that of the unsecured ones. Decide whether you want to go for secured consolidation loan or unsecured one.
