Consolidating my bills
Date: Mon, 02/28/2011 - 12:26
I am current facing a foreclosure on my house, I was wondering if there is anyway I can consolidate my bills. I have a mortgage, stundent loans, car payment and medical bills. I was wondering if I can put them into one monthly payment? Can you you let me know how I can do this and where?

Joe,Generally, you would need to qualify for a new loan that is sufficient to pay off all of your other bills in order to "consolidate." If you're facing foreclosure, I'm guessing that's not an option for you. Have you tried a mortgage modification? Are you student loans consolidated currently? Have you applied for a hardship deferrment for your student loans? Medical bills can generally be reduced, based on your income and/or you can make small monthly payments and that will keep the account from going to collections. Is it possible to sell your car and get a cheaper one? Is it a lease or a loan?
