Do I stop paying all at once or stager over a few months?

I lost income and after all is paid I am either evan or short each month ! Below is my list how should I start,

BOA $30k $530 a month
Boa 5k $100
Discover 5k $115
Capital One 6k $125
Household 4k $95

If you are looking into settlement then most of the creditors wouldn't consider settlement till you're current on making payments. Hence, you might need to default on the cards before taking up a settlement negotiation with the creditors. However, your credit score is likely to plummet in this effort.

I would stop all at once, sooner to start the sooner to end and start building good credit again. You might want to keep one card for emergency purposes, but in order to get out completely you might as well do them all. Cash only, once you get used to it, it's not bad.

personally i know when i went through it, all of them were being talked to all the time and it was a first come first serve basis. explain you have other cards your dealing with too and you will only have it for so long then they will have to wait till you get more funds saved. stop paying start saving and negotiate low to give room for them to counter i always was told to start at 25% of origional balance cause usually a 30-35% is great settlement offers they may counter at 40% and you would then offer 30-35. good luck!
