Different BOA Numbers

yes you are most likely calling the wrong branch, your specific account is assigned to a specific team of maybe 5 people at a certain branch. they try to not step on other teams feet at B of A which is kinda odd for collections in general, usually its very cut throat. sometimes though at B of A certain branches can go lower than others, depends on the upper management.

then again it could be a collection agency that B of A has assigned, i would call the number and find out, you dont have to give them any info, if they dont cooperate hang up and dial again to see if someone else answers, youd be surprised on how well the hang up and dial again works.
