And this is my story

I am German and had to come over to the States because my husband is in the military! Everything was fine and even with the child support he has to pay we where doing fine. Even at the beginning I didn't had a job and our daughter didn't went to school.
Yes things changed, little one started school I found a job at AAFES and still we where doing good....
Now the big mistake came and my husband helped a young mother which was in the Army and the husband was at Basic training to get a new car because their car broke down, So he co-signd and was the primery owner. She told us she did already a payment ahead and everything is fine. Sure the payments started actually 1 and 1/2 month later we were happy that she did good........NOT. I don't have to tell you guys what we all tried to make her pay. Well 4 month later the Bank called my husband and told him you have 48 hours before we repo the car and your credit gonna be screwed (do you say it like this?)
Oh I started sweating and my husband was close to explode, well we called our Bank and we could refinance our car and the car of hers with only 5.99% apr. Hey good deal, low payments, a little budget tightening but hey I still had my job and everything was still fine......
And boom it happend I had to quit my job because I had trouble at work got threadening because I had to pick up my daughter from school, like "it's gonna hurt you if you don't be back in 30 min". Hello am I stupid or something.... Well my car broke down and the dealer we bought it from wouldn't take it back because they new exactly that they charged to much and we where not able to take a lawyer. So what we did we bought a new one and had like 8000$ carry over from the old car onto the new one....

Well I was unemployed wasn't to find a job until last month and of course got cought in the Dept River because I wasn't eligebel for unemployed money and the savings we had were long gone.

What I did so far is reaserched what kind of help I can get here on the I-net and got in touch with the creditors and some of 'em are willing to help when I work on the plan I worked out before calling them.

Sofar I payed 2 Credit Cards of with high APR but low Summary. And I really hope to find another income so I can do it all faster.......

Every advise I can get will be appriciated, so please feel free to answer me here in that Topic.
