Does anyone have experience dealing with Capital Debt Relief?

Has anyone had any experience with this company?
Back last September my wife was diagnosed with cancer and had to stop working. With this loss of income I knew that we would not be able to cope with our credit card debt and our usual monthly bills (mortgage, and utilities, etc.) So I contacted them for assistance. At the time ALL my credit card payments were up to date! They told me to stop paying the creditors and that they would contact them to take over my debts, reduce my monthly payment to 1/2 of what it was and have me debt free in 4 years. (Sounded great at the time)..
Since then, my phone is ringing continuously day and night from call from these creditors! Some even offered to work out a deal to drop interest rates and penalties but Capital Debt Relief told me NOT to deal with them or talk to them other than telling them that my debts were being handled by them. All of these creditors claim that they have not received any notices from Capital Debt Relief they they were handling my payments?
If anyone can give me any information about this company I would appreciate it..

I've done a search for that company name on this forum but the only message that comes up is my own.. In the Google search (upper right hand corner) I haven't found out much about them except their ads and one place stating that they were too new (less than 5 years old) to get any info..
