CapitalOne just tripled my APR!

I haven't been able to get my ex-husband to pay child support and lost $4,000 in income since last October, otherwise I would have paid it off. I owe $7,700 and the minimum payment will be so high starting in March I won't even be able to pay it. I'm on the phone right now with CreditAnswers--does anyone have advice for me?

However, if you want to continue with this account, then you may not have much choices but to comply with the rate change. With the new credit card laws in place, many consumers are receiving such surprises with their credit card rates.
