Settling Credit Card debt with CapitalOne

I am close to charge off with Capital one with about $18,500 balance and have an offer to settle for 50%. They have been very hard to deal with.
I am curious if anyone was able to settle with Capital One for less then 50% before or after charge off.

Consider yourself lucky with the 50% offer. Most people on here were only offered 70%. They are very difficult with settlement. do a search and read some of the posts. I would run with it.

Crap one is very difficult to settle with and in my opinion, plastic roaches.
Consider the 50% a very good offer.
And they are quick to sue.
I settled all of mine before charge off.
