Capital One Every Day - Now Silence

Well I'm not sure if I am just wearing them down or if I'm in trouble. They were calling every single day. If you talk to them they can't call again that day (supposedly even though they do), but at least they weren't calling every hour. LOL Just every 2-3 hours.
Anyway - I picked up the phone every day and we went through the same routine. I can't make the payment and get caught up because I will be in same situation next month of not being able to make the payment but I have sold some stuff and can settle for $1500 on the $5000 debt. NCO says no and I then ask to be transferred to capital one - so they transfer me and I keep getting one of two people. They are all very nice but just want off the phone because they know I'm not going to give them a payment and their system says they can only take $4300 as settlement.
Well today not one single call. I charge off on 4/8. Anybody else experience this? If so did they come back with a better settlement?
