Hi everyone. I have a car loan with United Auto Credit. My payment is due on the 27th. There is a late fee amount, but if the payment is not there by noon on the 27th, these two awful men call me at work and start on me. They say things like, I thought we got this thru your head last time, etc. They call my friend, my boss, personnel. I work for the State. And, this is just the day the payment is due!!! They demand that you wire them the money by five, at the cost of $13 extra or they will come and take the car until you give them the money. Is this legal? I have a heart condition and I get so upset when these two call. Both times they had the payment by 5, it was on the way, and the payment came in the afternoon mail. I have never, ever, been late. This has gone on almost a year!!

This is absolutely ridiculous. I have never heard of such a thing. First of all, you are being harassed. Get the names of these clowns that are calling you. Tell them you are recording the call(even if you're not) and let them know you'll be playing it for their supervisor. I bet they change their tune.

You WILL NOT be reposessed after 1 day. Trust me on that. These people are

****. You've never been late, and you've been with them at least a year..Have you considered attempting to refinance through a different company? You could very well save money, and definitely get better treatment.

Finally..Report them!!! report them to the BBB and anyone else that you can think of. They are not ethical and you don't need to deal with it. Don't let them bully you, you've done nothing wrong. Stand up and fight back.

Fins I agree with you sounds like THUGS to me. I would definately do some reporting to a supervisor or to you state Attorney General. KYSIDE38
