I am attempting to determine if the payday loan companies I have gotten involved with are legal in Texas. When I searched CashNet USA, at the CSO website, it says their bond expired in 2007. What exactly does that mean?

I had a payday loan once with Cashnet USA and my only experience is that they are a legal lender and that they do not loan in a state that they are not licensed in. When I originally received my loan payday loans in AZ were legal. When the law changed in June of this year and my payday loan was still active Cashnet contacted me, made a payment arrangement plan excluding any more interest so the loan could be paid off within the time line given of the new law.
