No $ to settle file bankruptcy ?

Owe on 3 cards and a foreclosed house balance Heloc.Including the Heloc 100k +. Barely have $ to live let alone try to settle. Bankruptcy sounds like the thing to do. My credit is already shot and having a hard time just feeding the kids. But for now they have nothing to take so should I wait it out ? Thanks for any help :)

If any of those creditors sue you, they will attempt to garnish you. Or seize your bank account. You have to weigh the risks of waiting it out or doing it now. Personally with your debt load, I would work on getting a fresh start now.
