I would try to call them and see what they can do for you I hear alot of people say they had luck with this, but i did not in my situation. If you have alot of credit card debt you may want to consider a credit consolidation company, debt settlement on your own, or with a company(be sure to do your research there are alot of scammy places out there). But you come to the right place and if you look around you may find the answer!

The question is do you see yourself paying off this debt soon - 1 month? 2? 6? If you don't foresee a change and don't expect a raise in your income, your situation won't change at all; which means partial payments (even minimum payments) to your creditors will be a tremendous waste and drain on your hard earned income. You already know you can't make the minimum payments, which means a DMP/Credit Counseling will be of no benefit to you. The next route you should look at is a settlement program. That doesn't work, then I'd check out a BK lawyer.

Welcome to the Community :D Are you behind now, on the cards, if so, how long?
I did have luck with a couple of credit cards letting me do a hardship payment on my account and for my son's account.
I explained that I wanted them paid off, but due to financial hardship at the time, I couldn't afford the payment. I had to keep calling to find someone that would work with me.
One dropped the interest and fees, the other let me make lower payments for a year.
Be sure that you can make the payments you agree to and make them on the date, or they will take you off the program.Good luck..karen
