i am 65 yrs old on a fixed income, husband left and i am on social security disabilty. have over 10.000 indebt. what should i do.

Do you own a home? Is social security your only income?

You could file for bankruptcy. That way your debts would be discharged. If you decide to default (not pay them), they could get a judgement. Your social security cannot be garnished but you would need to keep those funds separate from any other money you may have.

You can contact a bankruptcy attorney who will give you a free consultation and then decide what you want to do.
