You can negotiate with the credit card companies yourself in order to settle or consolidate the dues. However, if you wish, you can even take professional help from the debt relief companies for the same. As far as student loan is concerned, you can contact the lender who has offered you the loan and check out if he can help you in paying off the debt. There are chances that the lender offering student loan will provide you with an affordable payment plan to pay off the dues.

You have a gross income of $12k per month. Subtract taxes and health insurance and 401k...so you maybe take home $7???? Set up a budget and live within it. Pay more on the cards to pay them down.

Take out a loan from your 401k to pay off your credit card debt. That's what I did to settle my credit card debt. I doubt that the credit card companies will give you any relief based on your salary. If you do take a loan to pay them off, cut them up so that you don't run them up again.
