What can be done about calls from these people about someone else. I am being harrased by this company for someone else's problem.

Send them a cease and desist letter via certified mail with a return receipt requested. When you get the receipt, hang on to it.

Welcome to the forums!
If you are getting calls from a collection agency, then tell them to stop calling you as you're not the person they are trying to contact. Under FDCPA Act, the collection agencies can't call a third party repeatedly. The collection agencies can contact a third party only once when they are unable to communicate with the consumer. So, inform that you'll be forced to register a complaint with FTC if they call you again.

Nelly, cease and desists are ONLY effective if they are sent in writing. Simply telling them to stop calling doesn't work, ever. This is bad advice.
