I aplied for a telphone line with century link. A new line because I do not have a phone jack in my current home. I never had a maintenance man show up or any line installed to my knowledge. I set up an appointment twice then gave up. It has been almost a year and now I am receiving a collection letter stating that Century Link has sent my file to a collection agency. How can I stop them from putting a 928 dollar bill on my credit report. I still do not have a land line phone at my residence or a jack on premises.
