In the first line of my Chase letter it says "we are pleased to confirm your acceptance of our settlement agreement in the amount of $XXX". Does yours not say that?

I was at about 100 days. Debtinthedistance, thanks for your reply. I just received another letter with the, "Thank you for acceptance of our settlement." That was a big relief.
Moving on now to deal with 5 others.

Chase can be a strange bird indeed.
As I recall, they were one of my first settlements also.
I did the deal with them over the telephone, got four confirmation numbers and killed 'em.
You'll hone your settlement skills as you go along.
