Payment of a settled account

Just tell them you no longer have an account but will use a prepaid visa card.

See if they will take a money order. That is the only way I will pay creditors from now on. I just tell them I don't have a checking account and if they want payment they can take a money order or cashiers check.

i set up payment with chase starting end of this month for 4 months using my checking account. I told them that the checking account doesnt have any money until the debit date. This is one checking that i have $25 balance a month and is only used for settlement. I will deposit the money only on the date that they are scheduled to debit. I think its okay, we'll see.

I told Discover I didn't have a checking account and they said they have proof that I do; even had the number. What the hell? How did they know this? and I had changed accounts from dealing with the PDLs.
