Settled with Chase Bank directly but its being reported - WHY?

Last year I settled credit card debt I had with Chase Bank. I took a look at my credit report and it is being reported as: Payment After Charge Off/Collection. The account never went to a collection agency. I settled the debt with Chase directly. I don't know how to resolve this. Any suggestions?

An account doesnt have to actually go to a CA to be considered a collection account.....just past due. Sounds like it is reporting correctly.
