Recnenly I have been contacted in the form of a letter by Palisades collection LLC about an At&t account for which I have never had. What is the best course of action agaisnt this claim? Should I contact At&t ?

If the account is not yours, send a debt validation letter. If they cannot validate, they cannot continue collection activity.
