Settlement with Citibank

Has anyone out there recently settled with Citibank? I have not heard of any recent settlements and am trying to get a feel for what they are doing now. Thanks!

actually i had a loan with citi ( personal ) they really screw up when it comes to recovery.I used to get so many calls after some days it all went to the senior officials and they had offered me one time settlement with just need to pay the principle only.
It is ok if one is settling with just principle. rather it is a good deal.
advice on citi settlement
I just received a settlement letter from a CA for Citibank for 50% off the original amount. Not sure what to do next. Also, if I take it what will show on my credit report? It currently shows as charged off.
