Citibank suing me with Jaffe & Asher - will they let me arrange a settlement plan?

I live in NJ and received Superior Court lawsuit paperwork today stating that Citibank is suing me in Civil Court for credit card debt. Jaffe & Asher are the attorneys for Citibank. Will they allow me to arrange a settlement payment plan out of court?
